Week 1 - FUNdraising Success!

Friends and supporters, I am so grateful for the outpouring of support received by you as I kicked off this adventure just a little over one week ago. Together, in just 9 short days, we've raised $3,868 - 25% of our $15,000 goal! This is incredible - and has all been made possible by each and every one of you, so thank you!

Over this past week, I spent a lot of time making handmade crafts and jewelry in preparation for a series of holiday fairs and markets that I am tabling at. I had my first event today and it was a success- $250 raised in just a few hours!

As part of my preparation, I had business cards with a QR code to my website melruns4hope.com added to it that I picked up at the local print shop. I left that print shop with a new friend and a donation. :)

Marie C. was so kind to chat about my marathon fundraising efforts with Rebekah's Angels and responded with an offer to donate the $2 she had in her purse.

This donation means so much to me because it came 100% from the heart - there was no ask, just the desire to give and support. I absolutely love that this work enables meeting amazing new people in the community!
